Moral Crisis: A perspective (Part 2)

We need a moral revolution in the 21st century. If we look back at past centuries, some of the largest human induced catastrophes come from the lack of judgement between what is morally right or wrong. Whenever civilizations have been destroyed, people are killed, we can trace that incident back to a single root of cause, which is often an organisation, or in some cases, a single person (yes, I am thinking about Adolf Hitler), who has a messed moral compass.

So?

How do we resolve it?

Every change comes from an individual, which means you. You have to start bringing changes.

1. Start cultivating kindness. Kindness is the first step to develop that emphatic basis you would need to develop your moral compass.

2. Be open to opinions. Understand that you are living only a single life, and there must be things you don’t know about which the other person probably knows.

3. Learn to appreciate whatever you have. It’s natural for us to wish for more happiness, prosperity, etc. But we must also learn how to appreciate whatever we have too! Be thankful for your health, education, family, friends, whatnot!

And there’s no end to these tips.

But if you want to take anything from this post, take these 3 points. Don’t be a mess! Because it is often our own troubles which are the seeds that create trouble for other beings around us!

Start cultivating that moral human inside you and give one of the many pushes to the moral revolution.

Greatness comes from within!

Ciao.
